What greeted me as I walked out to my car this morning. |
The one thing I don't like about April: today, April Fool's Day. This particular holiday is one I'm not a huge fan of, because I feel like I have to watch my back and be mistrusting of everyone all day. Don't get me wrong, I have a mischievous side. (Ask any of my past college roommates, especially the ones from BYU-Idaho. There wasn't a lot to do in Rexburg.) But on a day where it is expected, where is the fun in that? This is my biggest fear about April Fool's day, let's say I get in an accident of some kind and I try to call loved ones from the hospital, only to have none of them believe me because it just so happens to be April 1st. That would be traumatic! So sorry for being the April Fool's grinch. My plan: Ignore the jokesters and enjoy the sunshine with open arms (since it is supposed to rain this weekend.)
Love the daffodil, and that is no joke!
