5 Months!

Sometimes I have a hard time deciding what picture to post, so you get two. He was very serious during this little photo shoot of ours. Milestones Baby H actually started doing this more towards the end of last month, but he likes to stand (with help of course) a lot more these days. He used to last for like 2 seconds and then sit down, but now he will go up and down doing squats and thinks its fun. He's sleeping through the night more often, but only if he is sleeping in our room. This doesn't occur if he is sleeping in his room. First Christmas! He liked pulling at the ribbons on his presents and liked seeing family and playing with the toys he got. He's getting more dexterity with his hands. He can shake his own rattle, grab toys and reaches out to stroke our faces. I think he is understanding more what his hands are for. He reached out to me for the first time when he was sick, it was so sad and so sweet at the same time. He now reaches for his toys w

4 Months!

Milestones Baby H went on his first road trip! We visited his Aunt Michele, Uncle Dan and his cousin Princess C. He did great in the car, but not so great sleeping in a new place. He's now grasping things, like his blanket, toys and mommy's hair. He's getting better at sitting up with help. Had his first laugh. Well kind of, he isn't much of a laugher. I should say his first chuckle. He gives little chuckles when he is amused and when he's excited he squeals really loud. Stats from his 4 month appointment: Length - 23.25 inches (.93 percentile - an increase from .19 percentile, yay!)  Weight - 13 lbs 4.5 oz (9.32 percentile) Head Circumference - 16.25 inches (37.17 percentile) Still my little baby Likes Having his head brushed. I would say hair brushed, but he doesn't have a lot of that. Playing Superman, meaning I fly him around and sing the theme song to superman, very entertaining. He also likes to be bounced up and down, which has be

All Things Fall

I had the intention on posting these autumn occurrences as they, well, occurred, but as we can see, that didn't happen. So instead, this is your crunchy leaves/pumpkin pie/candy corn-rolled-up-into-a-ball-and-thrown-in-your-face type of post. Enjoy. Also, warning, if you hate lots of pictures of nature and a cute, little baby in different scenarios, you will hate this post. Might I add, if you hate pictures of nature and cute, little babies, what is wrong with you? Alpine Loop When Danny's mom was in town, we went on a drive on the Alpine Loop. The leaves were just starting to change. It was a nice way to welcome Fall. How I love the mountains. My love and me. A fall foot shot was necessarily. Pretty leaves. We went on a quick jaunt up a trail while Danny's mom watched the baby. The baby slept on. Mountain roads. Autumn Trees. A cute picture of Danny and his mom. The Pumpkin Patch! We went to our neighborhood pumpkin patc
