Latest Reads (From Awhile Ago)

I found this post tucked away and found I had never published it, until now. It is reviews of books I read at the beginning of the year. I haven't read anything over the past couple of months with all that has been going on. I think I went on a bit of a hiatus from reading, because I wasn't having much success on finding a book I really enjoyed, as you will see below. I've been craving the need to get lost in a good book. I'm hoping to check out our library in our new town soon, so perhaps I will make my hope of a good read a reality in the near future. World War Z by Max Brooks World War Z is a book of testimonies compiled of the survivors after World War Z aka the Zombie War. Stories are shared from military, political, medical, unethical and everyday people's perspectives of how they survived the zombie invasion and how the horrific disease spread. Out of all the books in the post, I liked this one the best. It was really interesting. I'm not a huge zo

June on Instagram (and Moving Day)

So apparently, I only posted two pictures for June on Instragram. Man, that's so lame of me. But also, things have been so, so busy, so you know. June 18th - That one day I was incredibly cranky and then walked out to my car to find I had a flat tire. Ugh. Special thanks to my friend Tina for taking me home and to Danny for helping me get the tire fixed so I could get my car home later that evening. June 29th - The state of our kitchen after our move. We were trying to find cereal bowls, but gave up after opening half of the boxes and ate of tupperware instead. June was moving month. Every day after work was spent packing a few more boxes. And thanks to individuals at work who got me many of those boxes. I was a bit strict with packing (just ask Danny) . We went through everything and gave so much away or threw things away. Then in my hyper organized state, everything had to have color coordinating labels so people would know where it all went. I think I may have drove D

Fireworks!!

I hope everyone had a very Happy 4th of July weekend! It was nice to have a long weekend. Most of our weekend has revolved around unpacking. Special thanks to Talena for coming to our house twice to help us with this task. We were able to get away for a little bit and have a BBQ with my parents and see the fireworks at Thanksgiving Point. I've always been a fan of firework shows. Danny showed me this video below and I found it incredibly impressive and a whole new way to enjoy fireworks. I'm usually the last to see YouTube videos, so I wouldn't be surprised if everyone has already seen this, but if not (or if so) enjoy!!
