While we have had a lot going on, I haven’t had much to write about. Weird, huh. Danny is healing up quite nicely after his little surgery, even though his back is sore. We have used Netflix quite a bit during the recovery. My personal favorite right now is “Pushing Daisies”. It is such a clever show, love it. Also, as part of the healing process Danny let his beard grow in which I think is so handsome on him. That is until today when he had to shave the whiskers because he returned to work. Good thing I think he is handsome without a beard as well.
While I don’t have many exciting events to share, I do have random thoughts and that is just as good, don’t you think? First off, I was researching the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC, just because. I found out that the way the Queen of the Cherry Blossom Festival is chosen is by spinning a bottle. Now that is my type of beauty contest. I told Talena and we both found it funny, because we usually find the same things funny. Now we want to try out next year. If this will really happen hard to say, but you never know.
Second, I’ve been so bored with my music lately it is making me nauseous; thus, causing me to search on YouTube for new tunes to be my background music as I work. I came across these two songs by Ingrid Michaelson that I have never heard before and I heart them oh so very much. You can listen to them here and here. Being a big Ingrid fan, I have no idea how I missed these tunes. I’ve come to a conclusion that if I had a soundtrack for my life, I would want Ingrid Michaelson to compose it.

I like "Pushing Daisies," too--and Netflix. You should definitely enter the spinning bottle beauty queen contest, though I think you could win a regular beauty queen contest, too :).
