I had the intention on posting these autumn occurrences as they, well, occurred, but as we can see, that didn't happen. So instead, this is your crunchy leaves/pumpkin pie/candy corn-rolled-up-into-a-ball-and-thrown-in-your-face type of post. Enjoy. Also, warning, if you hate lots of pictures of nature and a cute, little baby in different scenarios, you will hate this post. Might I add, if you hate pictures of nature and cute, little babies, what is wrong with you?
Alpine Loop
When Danny's mom was in town, we went on a drive on the Alpine Loop. The leaves were just starting to change. It was a nice way to welcome Fall.
Autumn Stroll
Cascade Springs
I met up with my wonderful friends and past roommates Rachel and Melissa to visit Cascade Springs up by Midway. We missed the peak of the changing leaves there, but it was still really pretty. We all had a baby 6 months or under, so that was an adventure in and of itself. I think we were in the parking lot for about 45 min, because each kiddo had to be fed and changed. However, we eventually got down to the springs and looked like the baby brigade with our strollers and infants. I wouldn't have it any other way.
4th Anniversary!
In years past, Danny and I have always gone on a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This year our celebrating was a little different, since we had Little Baby with us. We went on a walk around the Draper Temple (where we were married) and then got take-out from Texas Roadhouse (love their rolls) and watched Netflix. Danny also got me flowers and donuts, a few of my favorite things.

Pie Day with Danny's Family
The weekend before Thanksgiving, we got together with a few of Danny's siblings and their kids and had a little pre-Thanksgiving celebration with pie, lots of pie! It was delicious.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We celebrated Thanksgiving at my parents' house. Good food and great company!

The Pumpkin Patch!
We went to our neighborhood pumpkin patch and picked out a couple of pumpkins to carve. (Which we never got around to carving but instead they decomposed and melted on our porch.) However, we had a great time at the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch! |
The family photo. Baby H is checking out the newest additions, two scarecrows, which it appears we adopted. |

That one time Baby H's weird parents thought it would be cute to take a picture of him sitting on a pumpkin. |
He was not amused. |

And another family photo. |
Baby and I used to take walks to the park when the weather was warmer. On one particular day, the trees looked rather pretty, so I snapped a few photos.

Baby H was celebrating too. |
Shouldn't this be an Ensign cover? A baby smiling with the temple, can it get better than that? I think not. |
Our neighborhood had a cute Halloween carnival at the park with trick-or-treating for the kids. I invited some family members to enjoy the trick-or-treating, because Baby H was too young to do so.

Halloween in St. George
Danny had a business trip in Vegas, so Baby H and I tagged along for the ride and had him drop us off on the way down at my sister Michele's house. We had a lot of fun with Dan, Michele and Princess C. Plus, their neighborhood knows how to party when it comes to Halloween.

We had a delicious dinner, but it is the pies that I always take pictures of, because seriously, these are beautiful. |

I know you quit your job, but still, don't you know enough people that you could make that Ensign cover with Baby H and the temple happen?
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Lady E meeting Baby H. And all of those pies! I wish I could taste them.
